Mousse type dessert Ingredients:
16 ounces low fat vanilla yogurt (without gelatin) |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup cocoa |
1 tbsp hot water |
2 tsp vanilla extract, divided |
2 envelopes whipped topping mix |
1 cup fat free milk |
Directions:
1. Make yogurt cheese by lining a colander with folded cheese cloth or a large coffee filter, and fill with yogurt. Place in refrigerator overnight to drain. 2. Stir sugar, water, and cocoa until blended and add vanilla. Stir in yogurt cheese. 3. Prepare topping with milk and 1 tsp vanilla. Fold into chocolate mixture. 4. Makes a stand alone mousse type dessert served in individual dishes, or can be used in a trifle. |
