My kids love these. I try very hard to only eat one! Good Luck. Ingredients:
1 cup shortening |
1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar |
1/2 cup white sugar |
2 large eggs |
2 tablespoons milk |
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract |
1 3/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats |
1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chunks |
1 cup nuts, of your choice |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°. 2. Beat shortening and sugars until creamy. 3. Add the eggs, milk and vanilla, beating again until creamy and smooth. 4. Add the flour, baking soda and salt. 5. Mix well. 6. Stir in the oats, chocolate chunks and nuts. 7. Mix well. 8. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. 9. Bake for 7-8 minutes. |
