A summer recipe. Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 cup butter, softened |
3/4 cup sugar |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 large eggs |
12 ounces chocolate chips |
1 cup chopped nuts |
1/2 cup dry-roasted crickets |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. 3. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar. 4. and vanilla; beat until creamy. 5. Beat in eggs. 6. Gradually add flour mixture and insects, mix well. 7. Stir in chocolate chips. 8. Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. 9. Bake for 8-10 minutes. |
