Very good! The chocolate chips melt in the oven and it makes the scones taste very interesting. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/3 cup sugar |
4 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons shortening |
3/4 cup milk or cream |
1 egg |
1/3 cup choco chips |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 375 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar 3. mix well 4. cut in butter and shortening 5. in a seperate bowl, combine cream with beaten egg 6. add dry ingredients 7. stir in choc chips 8. turn dough out onto floured surface 9. roll dough out and pull off biscuit size rounds 10. place on greased baking sheet 11. bake for 15 minutes or until brown |
