2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |

6 tablespoons butter |
1/2 cup chocolate chips |
1/2 cup buttermilk |
1 large egg |
1 tablespoon milk |
3 tablespoons sugar |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 425. 2. Lightly grease a large baking sheet. 3. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and 2 tablespoons of the sugar. 4. In a cup, beat together the buttermilk and egg, then add them to the flour mixture. 7. Mix lightly with a fork until the mixture clings together and forms a ball of soft dough. 8. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface. 9. and knead gently, turning 5 or 6 times. 10. With a floured rolling pin, roll the dough into a 1/2-inch thick circle. 11.
