cake mix, instant pudding, nuts, rum, chocolate chips make this a special occasion cake. Glaze cake with Rum glaze, see recipe Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix |
3 9/10 oz pudding, chocolate powder |
4 eggs |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
1 tablespoon rum |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1 cup sour cream |
1 cup walnuts, chopped |
12 oz chocolate chips, semisweet |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees 2. Spray or butter a 12-cup bundt pan 3. In a large bowl, combine cake mix & pudding mix, whisking to break up lumps & set aside 4. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the eggs, vanilla and rum 5. Add oil until well blended 6. Mix in the sour cream until well blended 7. Add the egg/sour cream mixture to the dry ingredients and stir only until blended 8. Add nuts and chocolate chips 9. Pour into bundt pan 10. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean 11. Put the cake, in the pan, on a cooling rack. |
