From the Betty Crocker cookbook Ingredients:
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
1/4 cup butter |
1/4 cup shortening |
1/2 tsp baking soda |
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon |
1/2 tsp vanilla |
1/4 tsp baking powder |
1/4 tsp salt |
1 egg |
1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats |
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1 cup chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 2. Mix all ingredients except oats, flour and chocolate chips. 3. Stir in oats, flour and chocolate chips. 4. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. 5. Bake until light brown, about 10 minutes. 6. Immediately remove from cookie sheet - makes about 2 dozen cookies |
