This is so very good, you may not get 8 servings out of this one. Also good with Vanilla Ice Cream YUM, Enjoy! Ingredients:
1 cup butter (2 cubes), room temperature |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup all-purpose flour |
6 ounces chocolate chips |
3/4 cup pecans, chopped |
1/2 cup flaked coconut |
1 unbaked, 9-inch pie shell |
whipped cream or ice cream for garnish |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In a medium mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in flour. 3. Gradually stir in chocolate chips, pecans and coconut. Pour mixture into pastry shell. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Top will be a deep golden color while center may still be soft. 5. SERVES: 8 |
