I haven't tried it, so cooking time is approximate. Ingredients:
1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips |
1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1/2 cup all-purpose flour |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup half-and-half cream |
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1 dash ground cinnamon |
3 tablespoons butter |
maple syrup, and (optional) |
additional butter (optional) |
Directions:
1. In a small brown bowl, combine chocolate chips and brown sugar; set aside in a small mixing bowl, beat the flour, eggs, cream, nutmeg, and cinnamon until smooth. 2. Place butter in a 9 inch pie plate. Heat at 425°F for 4-6 minutes or until melted. Pour batter into hot pie plate. Sprinkle with chocolate chip mixture. 3. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until top edges are golden brown. Serve immediately with syrup and butter if desired. |
