Make these with or without nuts. Ingredients:
1/2 cup canola oil |
1/2 cup margarine |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup white sugar |
2 large eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups corn flakes cereal |
1 cup rolled oats |
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. 2. Lightly grease cookie sheets (I use cooking spray). 3. In a large bowl; mix together the canola oil, margarine, and sugars until smooth. 4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. 5. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; stir into the sugar mixture. 6. Mix in the cornflakes cereal, oats, chocolate chips and walnuts. 7. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. 8. Bake for 12-15 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. 9. Allow cookies to cool slightly on the cookie sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely. |
