Recipe comes from my friend Janey with a few additions. Note cookies do not turn golden brown, but do taste delicious. Ingredients:
3/4 cup all-purpose flour |
1/4 cup wheat germ |
1/2 cup flax seed meal |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
1 egg |
2 tablespoons milk |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup quick-cooking oats |
1/2 cup dried cranberries |
1 cup chocolate chips |
1/4 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Stir together all dry ingredients. 2. In another bowl, beat butter (softend) and sugars. Add egg, milk and vanilla. 3. Stir in flour, oats, nuts, chocolate chips and cranberries; mixing well. 4. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet; bake at 350 for about 12-14 minutes. |
