On a diet? Want a cookie? Make these! *Now here's my disclaimer. These aren't the cookies I'd make for myself if I wasn't on a diet. They're really yummy, but the texture is different from normal chocolate chip cookies. That being said, I love these little things especially since they don't wreck my diet!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup splenda sugar substitute
1/4 cup splenda brown sugar blend
1/4 cup light margarine
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Mix both kinds of Splenda with margarine until combined. Add applesauce, yogurt, and vanilla.
3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
4. Stir flour mixture into margarine mixture.
5. Fold in chocolate chips.
6. Drop by spoonful onto greased or lined cookie sheet.
7. Bake for 8-12 minutes. Cool 1 minute before removing to cooling racks.
