I think when you taste your first chocolate chip cookie as a small child, that recipe is your favorite. This recipe was the one my mom used while I was growing up and it's still my favorite. You can find it on page 83 of the cookbook shown. Ingredients:
1/4 cup of butter |
3/4 cups brown sugar, packed |
1 egg |
2 cups of bisquick |
6 ounce package of semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. 2. Mix thoroughly butter, brown sugar and egg. 3. Stir in the Bisquick, mix well with a fork (Cookie dough should be thick. 4. If not add a little more Bisquick) 5. Stir in the chocolate chips 6. Drop by the tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto a cookie sheet. 7. Bake about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 2 dozen. |
