Homemade chocolate chip cookies with a slight twist. My absolute favorite cookie of ALL TIME! Feel free to use different chocolate chips for a different taste. Ingredients:
1 cup butter, room temperature |
1 cup brown sugar, packed |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 large eggs |
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract |
2 1/2 cups flour |
1 tsp baking soda |
1 tsp ground cinnamon |
a pinch of salt |
1 cup milk chocolate chips |
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees 2. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a bowl. 3. Beat the butter and sugars together until creamy, about 3 minutes. I like to cream the butter first then add the sugars. 4. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. 5. Stir in flour mixture a little at a time. 6. Add the chocolate chips. 7. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. 8. Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown. 9. Cool for 1 minute on cookie sheet. 10. Remove to cooling racks to cool completely. 11. Try not to eat them in one sitting! |
