My family loves cookies and really love chocolate chip cookies. This recipe is so good and easy to make. I got this recipe from a package of Tops brand chocolate chips. When I made these in the past I used regular sugars and chocolate chips. I now plan to use Splenda sugars and sugar free chocolate chips. Ingredients:
1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
12 ounces chocolate chips |
1 cup chopped nuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Cream together butter, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. 3. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing until well blended. 4. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. 5. Bake at 375 for about 10 minutes until lightly browned. |
