(A-Z Kids Cookbook) Ingredients:
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed |
2/3 cup butter, softened |
1 egg |
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375. 2. Mix sugars, butter, egg in large bowl with wooden spoon. 3. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt (dough will be stiff). 4. Stir in chocolate chips and/or nuts. 5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. 6. Bake until light brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Let cookies cool slightly, then remove from cookie sheet with spatula. |
