A different twist to a normal cheese ball appetizer! Perfect with graham crackers or vanilla wafers! Hope you enjoy! Ingredients:
1 (8-ounce) package softened cream cheese |
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
3/4 cup confectioner's sugar |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
3/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips |
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans |
graham crackers (regular or sticks), or vanilla wafers |
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until fluffy. 2. Gradually add the sugars and beat just until combined. 3. Stir in the chocolate chips. 4. Cover and refrigerate for approximately 2 hours. 5. Remove from refrigerator and place mixture onto large piece of plastic wrap. 6. Form into a ball shape and refrigerate again for about 1 hour. 7. Just before serving, remove from refrigerator and unwrap. 8. Roll cheese ball into finely chopped pecans until it is thoroughly covered. 9. Place onto small serving plate with graham cracker sticks or vanilla wafers. |
