Hope you guys like it. This is not my recipes. I got the recipes from a book titled 'COOKING CLASS Cookbook'. But I've changed the ingredients and directions a bit but the taste is still the same. This is my mum's cookbook. I don't know where she bought it. I think she bought it a long time ago because the book looks so old to me. Btw, good luck trying it! :) Ingredients:
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup butter, softened |
2 tablespoons water |
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
1 1/4 all-purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 large eggs |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees Farenheit (or 180 degrees Celcius). Grease square baking pan; set aside. 2. Combine sugar, butter and water in medium microwavable mixing bowl. Stir in semisweet chocolate chips. Microwave at HIGH 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until chips are melted and mixture is well blended. Stir in vanilla extract; let stand 5 minutes to cool. 3. Place flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl; stir to combine. 4. Beat eggs into chocolate mixture, 1 at a time, with mixing spoon. Add flour mixture; mix well. Spread batter evenly into prepared baking pan. 5. Bake 25 minutes for fudgy brownies or 30 to 35 minutes for cakelike brownies. 6. Remove pan to wire rack; cool completely. Cut into 2 1/4-inch (5.5 cm) squares. Place powdered sugar in fine-mesh strainer, sprinkle over brownies, if desired. 7. Stor tightly covered at room temperature or freeze up tp 3 months. |
