Chocolate Chip Breakaway Bread |

The simplest recipe I have seen for chocolate monkey bread. Ingredients:
2 (12 ounce) cans refrigerated biscuits |
1/2 cup mini chocolate chip, divided |
1 tablespoon melted butter |
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F 2. Grease a 9 inch springform or cake pan. 3. Cut each biscuit in half. 4. Layer 1/3 of the biscuits in pan. 5. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup chocolate chips. 6. Layer with another 1/3 of biscuits, and 1/4 cup chocolate chips. 7. Top with the last of the biscuits. 8. Brush with butter and sprinkle on sugar. 9. Bake for 30 minutes. |
