My favorite winter recipe...Mom always made it at Christmas. -Heidi Jo McManaman Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 1/2 (1-oz.) sqs. unsweetened baking chocolate, chopped |
1 cup brown sugar, packed |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 tablespoon milk |
1 teaspoon all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 9-inch pie crust |
garnish: whipped cream |
Directions:
1. Melt butter and chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat; set aside. 2. Combine sugars, eggs, milk, flour and vanilla in a medium bowl. Gradually add chocolate mixture, beating constantly. Pour into unbaked pie crust; bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes. Let cool before serving. Garnish, if desired. |
