What the hell were you thinking? If that is the first thing that is going through your mind when you saw this title, you are not alone! I was fixing Silver Queen’s Shrimp Rangoon and ran out of filling before I ran out of wonton wrappers. Read more . My own fault as I kept sampling the filling (they are that good) Where was I? Oh yah…So the next recipe we were going to try was keni’s Black Forest Pie. So one thing led to another and these turned out so rich and good, I’m glad I only had a few extra wontons left over, otherwise I would be as big as a house. Ingredients:
1 can cherry pie filling |
1 bottle chocolate syrup |
powdered sugar |
wonton wrappers |
Directions:
1. Heat your oil for deep frying 2. Place a Wonton wrapper and fill with one (1) cherry and a bit of goop 3. Drizzle some syrup on top of the pie filling 4. Seal the edges well 5. Fry until golden brown 6. Dust with powdered sugar |
