This cheesecake was a big hit when I made it. Best flavor combination. Ingredients:
1 jar maraschino cherries(12 oz) |
2 pkgs.(8oz ea.) cream cheese,softened |
1/2c sugar |
2 eggs |
1/2c miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1 chocolate cookie crust(9 ) |
6 chocolate covered cherries |
Directions:
1. Drain cherries,reserve 2 tsp. juice. Cut cherries into quarters; set aside. In small mixing bowl,beat cream cheese,sugar and reserved cherry juice. Add eggs;beat just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips and reserved cherries.
2. Pour into crust(crust will be full). Bake at 350 for 30-35 mins. or till center is almost set. Cool on wire rack. Serve with chocolate covered cherries.
