Chocolate Cheesecake Brownies Ingredients:
5 tbsp butter, unsalted |
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips |
1 cup flour |
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa |
1/4 tsp baking soda |
1/4 tsp salt |
3 eggs, lightly beaten |
1 3/4 cup sugar |
1 tsp instant espresso, dissolved in 1 tbsp water |
1/2 tsp vanilla extract |
8 oz cream cheese, at room temperature |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9 x 13 baking dish with spray. 2. For brownie layer, combine butter and chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave until nearly melted. Stir. 3. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in a bowl. In a seperate bowl whisk 2 eggs, espresso vanilla and 1 1/4 cup sugar. Add chocolate mixture; stir until smooth. Stir in dry ingredients. Pour in one smooth layer into pan. 4. For cheesecake, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 egg with an electric mixer at medium-high. Drop spponfuls onto brownie mixture. Draw with the tip of a butter knife to swirl. 5. Bake 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan. |
