Delicious. Very rich. Can be made in pre-made chocolate pie crusts (makes 3). Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) box chocolate wafer cookies (thin) |
3/4 cup butter (melted) |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips |
2 lbs cream cheese (softened) |
2 cups sugar |
4 eggs |
1 tablespoon cocoa |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
2 cups sour cream |
Directions:
1. Crush wafer cookies. 2. Combine wafers with butter and cinnamon. 3. Press into bottom and sides of 10 spring-form pan. 4. Chill. 5. Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips. 6. Beat softened cream cheese in large bowl until fluffy and smooth. 7. Gradually beat in sugar. 8. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. 9. Add melted chocolate, cocoa, and flavorings. 10. Blend thoroughly. 11. Stir in sour cream. 12. Pour into chilled crust. 13. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 10 minutes. 14. Cake will be slightly runny, but will firm as it chills. 15. Cool at room temperature. 16. Chill at least 5 hours before serving. |
