Servings will depend on how large you cut these, it does suggest 1 pieces. Hope you enjoy these little gems. Ingredients:
1 cups all purpose flour |
1 cup brown sugar firmly packed |
1 confectioners sugar optional |
1 egg |
1 cup cashews coarsely chopped |
1 cup chocolate morsels |
12 ounces caramel ice cream topping |
1 cup milk chocolate morsels |
1 cup margarine |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F. 2. Combine flour and brown sugar in large bowl. Cut in margarine with 3. pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. 4. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate morsels; press firmly onto bottom of 5. ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes. 6. Beat egg and ice cream topping in medium bowl with wire whisk until 7. well blended. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup chocolate morsels and the 8. cashews; spread evenly over crust. 9. Bake 18 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely. Cut 10. into 24 squares. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, if desired. 11. Yield: 24 servings (1 square each) |
