Chocolate Cake With Chocolate Sauce |

Low fat, but definitely not low sugar or low cal. This cake WILL stop your chocolate cravings! Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups sugar |
1 1/4 cups flour |
1/2 cup cocoa |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup low-fat mayonnaise |
1/2 teaspoon vinegar |
1/2 cup prune juice |
1/2 cup water |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup water |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 cup cocoa |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°. 2. Use Pam to spray an 8x8-inch cake pan. 3. Mix the dry ingredients from the cake list. 4. Add the wet ingredients and stir well. 5. Pour in pan and bake 40-50 minutes. 6. For the sauce, put the water and sugar in a pan. 7. Bring to a boil; add the cocoa. 8. Simmer 5 minutes, then stir in the vanilla. 9. Poke holes in the cake; pour the sauce over top. |
