Chocolate Cake Wit Blueberry Topping

simple chocolate cake and is so ez to make ... but the blueberry topping will make all the difference
Ingredients:
175 gmgolden caster sugar
150 gm butter , diced
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp thick milk
1/2 tbsp golden syrup
150 gm self raising flour
25 gm cocoa pwd
whipped cream
a bowl of fresh blueberries
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tsp cornflour
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven at 170 deg C .
2. Beat the butter and sugar until creamy .
3. Add the eggs and essence .
4. Beat until thick .
5. Add the flour , cocoa and the milk .
6. Mix well .
7. Pour into a 9 inch greased pan .
8. Bake for 35 mins .
9. Cool .
10. Cut into 2 layers .
11. Spread the whipped cream on top of one layer .
12. Arrange the another layer on top .
13. Spread the rest on the cream on top and the sides

15. Wash the blueberries
16. Add sugar , lemon juice and mix well.
17. In a small saucepan , bring blueberry mixture to a boil
18. Add the cornflour .
19. Boil 1 minute until slightly thicken.
20. Add vanilla.
21. Chill and pour over the cake
22. Serve over puddings, cake, or ice cream.
