From the Pillsbury's Best 1000 Recipes Best of the Bake-Off Collection This is a good frosting and is very nice on a white cake, or a chocolate cake of course. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter or margarine |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3 cups sifted confectioners' sugar |
4 tablespoons hot scalded cream or milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 1/2 squares (1 1/2 ounces) unsweetened chocolate), melted |
Directions:
1. Cream butter with the salt. Blend in confectioners' sugar alternately
