Chocolate Butter Cream Icing |

This is a fancy icing to top my recipe Clara's Chocolate Cake. Great for company dessert. Ingredients:
1/2 c soft butter |
1/4 c cocoa |
3 - 4 c icing sugar (about 1 lb) |
1 tsp vanilla (add 1 tsp orange or almond as well for a new twist) |
4 - 8 tbsp milk |
Directions:
1. Cream butter til light and fluffy. 2. Add vanilla (and other flavouring) 3. Sift cocoa and icing sugar together 4. Add in 3 - 4 batches, alternating with milk, 1 Tbsp at a time 5. When desired consistency, frost cooled cake. |
