An old recipe passed down by my grandmother. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1/2 tablespoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3 ounces chocolate, melted |
1/4 cup margarine, melted |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 cup buttermilk |
1 egg |
1 tablespoon cocoa |
Directions:
1. Sift together all dry ingredients. 2. Combine with wet ingredients and blend well. 3. Spread into a 8 inch baking pant and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 min until golden. 4. Let cool. |
