I couldn't believe that the recipe really uses brandy and not a brandy flavoring... you could change the flavor of these cookies by changing the flavor of brandy used.... I haven't made these but they are on my list to try. Read more ... Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1 cup confectioners sugar |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips |
3 cups flour |
1 1/2 cups brandy |
1 cup pecans, finely chopped |
Directions:
1. in large bowl.... cream.. butter and both sugars until light and fluffy 2. in food processor fitted with a steel blade... process the chocolate chips until they are finely chopped 3. add chocolate , flour, brandy, and pecans to butter mixture 4. stir until a soft dough forms 5. drop by a teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet 6. bake in a preheated 350' oven for 12 - 15 minutes or until light brown 7. cool completely on a wire rack. 8. store in an airtight container 9. yields about 36 cookies 10. ............................................................................................. 11. the recipe has no baking powder or soda and no salt.... |
