This is an incredible pie. It is oozing with chocolate and so creamy. A must try and a definite keeper. Ingredients:
2-1/2 cups all purpose flour |
1 teaspoon granulated sugar |
1 cup butter cut up |
1/4 cup ice water |

1/2 cup unsalted butter melted |
2 eggs |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1 cup semisweet chocolate pieces |
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans |
2 tablespoons bourbon |
1/2 cup flour |
Directions:
1. Mix all crust ingredients except water in food processor until crumbly. 2. Slowly add ice water until mixture just holds together. 3. Wrap in a flat circle in plastic wrap then chill overnight and form into pie pan. 4. Beat eggs with cooled butter then add flour and sugar and beat until well mixed. 5. Gently fold in pecans, chocolate and bourbon then add mixture to pie shell. 6. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes and serve with fresh whipped cream. |
