This is a recipe I found on my Baker's chocolate while making chocolate bark for Christmas. Looked good enough to try and share! Ingredients:
18 oreo chocolate sandwich cookies, finely crushed (about 1 1/2 c.) |
2 tbsp butter or margarine, melted |
3 pkg (8oz each) philadelphia cream cheese, softened |
3/4 c. sugar |
1 tsp vanilla |
1 pkg (8 squares) baker's semi-sweet chocolate, melted, cooled slightly |
3 eggs |
Directions:
1. PREHEAT oven to 325. If using silver 9-inch springform pan or 300 if using a dark nonstick springfoarm pan. 2. Mix cookie crumbs and butter: pressfirmly onto bottom of pan. 3. BEAT cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add chocolate: mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Pour over crust. 4. BAKE 55 min. to 1 hr. or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Store in refrigerator. Makes 12 servings. |
