I found the base for this in a Racheal Ray magazine but then adjusted to fit the ingredients I had at home and could find in my local grocery store. I live in a small town so sometimes it's hard to find the ingredients they list. The measurements are estimated becuase I made it up as I went. It turned out to be a good treat in my house, my husband has asked me for more every night since then. There may be some of the cresents rolls left over. Ingredients:
2 (8 ounce) packages crescent rolls |
1 banana (cut in half lengthwise then into 3 pieces- 6 pieces total) |
1 cup chocolate chips |
8 teaspoons cinnamon-sugar mixture |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven according to cresent package details. 2. Separate the rolls and put two triangles together to form a rectangle. With slighty moistened fingertips pinch together the two then lightly roll with a rolling pin. 3. Place one piece of banana, a tsp of cinn/ sugar, and a small handful of choc chips onto the flattened roll. 4. Roll the whole thing up like a burrito then sprinkle with more cinn/ sugar 5. Place on a cookie sheet with parchment paper 6. Cook about 8-10 minutes or until the cresent rolls look golden. 7. You can serve them whole or cut them in half. |
