This is a delicous snack for young and old. Ingredients:

1 c granulated sugar |
2 lg eggs |
1 tsp vanilla |
3 ripe medium banana’s |
1/4 c milk |
1 1/2 c all purpose flour |
1/4 c cocoa |
1 1/2 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp baking soda |
1/4 tsp salt |
1/2 c chopped walnuts or chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 350. Grease loaf pan. Combine the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a bowl. Beat on med. Speed until moistened. 2. Mash enough bananas with a fork to make 1 cup. Add to the batter along with the milk. Beat on low speed to blend. (Don’t forget to eat leftover bananas. 3. Add the next 5 ingredients. Beat on low speed until the flour mixture is moistened. 4. Use a spoon to stir in walnuts 0r choc chips. Turn the batter into the loaf pan. Bake on center rack in the oven for 50 to 60 minutes. 5. Important: I suggest set timer for 30 min. test loaf with tooth pick. Insert the tooth pick middle of loaf; if it comes out clean your loaf is done. Easier to cut if the loaf is a day old. |
