This is s a perfect finger dessert for those office parties and for that come and go company over the holiday season Ingredients:
1 cup of crunchy peanut butter |
4 ounces butter |
2 1/4 cups of icing sugar |
1 1/2 cups of rice crispy cereal |
chocolate mix |
8 ounces cooking chocolate |
1 ounce vegetable shortening |
Directions:
1. Melt the peanut butter and butter in a pan and pour over the dry ingredients. Mix well. Roll ingredients into 1 inch balls and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Melt chocolate, mix ingredients gently over double boiler. Roll balls into chocolate mixture and put on wire rack. Refrigerate 2. For a little change up you can roll them in crushed toasted almonds or coconut immediately after the chocolate bath. |
