This is one my Mom's favorite Holiday recipes, and one of the the kids and grandkids favorite also!! Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten |
1 cup icing sugar |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped fine |
1 cup dates, chopped fine |
12 green cherries, chopped fine |
12 red cherries, chopped fine |
1 cup coconut, dessicated |
paraffin wax (1/4 bar) |
1 square bitter chocolate (28.1g) |
1 (225 g) package chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Mix thoroughly and let stand in fridge for 1 hour. 2. Roll in small balls. Rturn to refrigerator for another hour. 3. Melt together over warm water: 1/4 bar parrafin wax, bittersweet chocolate and chocolate chips. 4. Dip the balls in the melted chocolate mixture and place on parchment lined baking dish and refrigerate,. |
