Chocolate and Hazelnut Pastries |

Quick and easy dessert using pre rolled pastry. Ingredients:
1 sheet pre rolled puff pastry |
1/4 cup dark chocolate, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
2 tablespoons hazelnuts, roasted and chopped |
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 400'F/200'C. 2. Cut sheet of pastry into 4 long pieces. 3. Cover 1/2 of each (from the short end to middle, leaving 1/2' border) with chopped chocolate. 4. Sprinkle over the cinnamon then the nuts. 5. Fold over the other half to enclose the filling. Press down well. 6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for approx 15mins until puffed and golden. 7. Sift over a little icing sugar if desired and serve either warm or cold with some freshly whipped cream. |
