A healthy version for chocolate muffins Ingredients:
4 eggs |
1/4 cup flax seed oil |
1/4 cup canola oil |
1 cup unsweetened applesauce |
2 ripe bananas, mashed with a fork |
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour |
1 1/4 cups white flour |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1/4 cup dark unsweetened cocoa |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 cup flax seed |
6 ounces 60% semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Mix first five ingredients together; separatelty, mix dry ingredients. 2. Blend the two mixtures together, fold in chips and flax seeds. 3. Generously fill 24 paper lined muffin cups. 4. Bake at 400 degress F for 20-25 minutes. Enjoy :). |
