Choco-pecan Pie With Dulce De Leche |

this tart is the most exquisite thing, goes perfectly with vanilla icecream, I just love this tart, it's a must, and its my new invent Ingredients:
for the crust |
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour |
90 grs. butter, (1 stick) |
1 tbsp.sugar |
1/4 tsp. salt |
for the filling |
1 1/3 sticks of butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
150 grs.semisweet chocolate in pieces |
1 1/2 cups light corn syrup |
1 tbsp.vanilla |
1/4 tsp salt |
8 eggs |
200 grs. pecan halves |
for the topping |
1 cup dulce de leche (or your favorite caramel recipe) |
1/4 cup milk |
Directions:
1. FOR THE CRUST 2. Process the flour with butter, sugar, and salt , add 1/4 cup of cold water and mix untill you get a good consistency. 3. cover and refrigerate 30 minutes. 4. After that in a piece of parchmente paper place your dough, flour your rolling pin and gently roll the dough, and press firmly into the corners, place in the refrigerator until the fiiling is ready. 5. FOR THE FILLING 6. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except the pecans and the chocolate in pieces, whisk untill everything is fully integrated. 7. Remove the pie shell from the refrigerator. 8. Pour the mixture and allow pecans to float in the surface as well as the chocolate. 9. place in the oven for 45 min. aprox 10. FOR THE TOPPING 11. Dilute the dulce de leche with the milk boil over low heat for 2 minutes. 12. When the pie is ready you turn it upsidedown and pour the dulce de leche sauce all over and its done!!!! 13.
