Love hazelnut coffee? Create the same latte flavor in a deliciously easy,addictive chocolate cookie. From Betty Crocker. Ingredients:
1 pouch(1lb 1.5 oz) betty crocker sugar cookie mix |
1/3 c unsweetened baking cocoa |
3 tbs instant coffee granules |
1/2 c butter,softened |
3 tbs hazulnut-flavored syrup for beverages |
1 egg |
1-1/2 c toasted hazelnuts,chopped |
1 c min semi-sweet chocolate chips |
2/3 c betty crocker rich and creamy chocolate frosting |
4-1/2 tsp hazelnut-flavored syrup |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. In large bowl,stir together cookie mix,cocoa and instant coffee.Add butter,3 Tbs syrup,and the egg;stir till soft dough forms. Stir in 1 c of the nuts and chocolate chips. 2. On ungreased cookie sheets,drop dough with rounded 1-1/2 Tbs sized cookie scoop or rounded teaspoonfuls 2 apart. Press each mound to flatten slightly 3. Bake 8-10 mins or till set. Coolins;remove from sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely,about 15 mins. 4. In small bow,stir frosting and 4-1/2 tsp. syrup. Spread 1 tsp. frosting on each cookie. sprinkle with remaining 1/2c nuts. |
