YUM, Designed for chocoholics who are seeking to expand their horizons, this exotic specialty boasts a flavor full of richness and intrigue. This will make 3-4 dozen cookies depending what size you decide to make these. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1-1/2 cups sugar |
2 eggs |
1 tsp. vanilla extract |
2 cups flour |
2/3 cup hershey's cocoa |
2 tsp. baking powder |
1 tsp. baking soda |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts |
3/4 cup shredded coconut |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. 2. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light. 3. Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. 4. Stir in chopped macadamia nuts and coconut. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove cookies to wire rack to cool completely. 5. Yield: 3-4 dozen. |
