This is a chocolatey cake that everyone will love to get their hands on (they won't bother with forks!). Ingredients:

16 oz semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped |
3/4 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans) - optional |
2/3 cup granulated sugar |

3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened |
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar |
3 eggs |
1 1/2 cups sour cream |
2 tsp vanilla |
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 1/2 tsps baking powder |
1 tsp baking soda |
1/2 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F. 2. Grease 10 in. tube pan or 9x13 pan.. 3. In small bowl, combine topping ingredients; set aside. 4. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy. 5. Beat in eggs, sour cream, and vanilla until well mixed. 6. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl. 7. On low speed, add flour mixture to batter, beating until smooth. 8. Spoon 1/3 (about 2 cups) of the batter into prepared pan, spreading evenly. 9. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the topping (scant 1 cup). 10. Repeat layering 2 more times. Bake 55 to 65 min. or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. 11. Cool in pan on wire rack for 20 min. 12.
