Another recipe my my favourite paper.......... The Weekly Times. Jeremy Vincent has some fantastic recipes that he has published in this paper. I have been making so many of his recipe's just lately. This recipe is just another one of his recipes that I have made, one of which this family just loved. I did use the option of Lemon icing and these were just so easy and yet so scrumptious! Ingredients:
125 g butter |
125 g chocolate, bits |
200 g condensed milk (1/2 can 395gr condensed milk) |
250 g malt biscuits, crushed |
125 g slivered almonds |
200 g dried apricots, chopped |
lemon icing (optional) |
Directions:
1. Melt the butter, stir in the condensed milk, then cool. 2. Add remaining ingredients. 3. Press the mixture into a slice pan, about 26 x17 cm and refrigerate. 4. Top with lemon icing when cool. 5. and cut into sqaures or rectangles. |
