This is always on our Holiday buffet table and just about any other gathering... It's good, cheap and EASY! Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese softened on the counter... not melted |
1 heaping tablespoon horse radish grated... you can use less |
2 oz jar or bag dried chipped beef |
4 green onions... (is it safe to use them now ) |
Directions:
1. In your processor, chop the beef 2. Set aside 3. Process cream cheese until smooth 4. Add Horseradish, pulse 5. Add green onion, pulse 6. Add 1/4 of the beef, pulse 7. Remove blade from bowl and set bowl in frig for about 60 minutes. 8. When chilled take out, form into a ball and roll in the rest of the beef. 9. I put it in a shallow serving bowl, and keep covered until serving time. Put bowl on plate and surround with rye breads and crackers.. 10. Very good! |
