Ingredients:
1 whole(s) 2 oz. package dried ancho chilies |
6 clove(s) garlic |
1/2 whole(s) quartered red onion |
1/4 cup(s) veg. oil |
2 tablespoon(s) chopped fresh oregano |
2 teaspoon(s) cumin powder |
1 teaspoon(s) black pepper |
4 whole(s) 6 oz. chicken breasts |
Directions:
1. Soak dry chilies overnight in water, until soft. Remove seeds. 2. Place chilies, garlic, onion, oil, oregano, cumin and pepper in a food processor and puree until smooth. 3. In a medium baking dish, spread the mixture over the chicken. 4. Refrigerate at least 1 hr., or up to 24 hours. 5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for 5 min. per side or until done. |
