Ingredients:
3 cups water
3/4 cup quick-cooking grits
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese
1 chipotle chile in adobo, mashed
Directions:
1. Bring water to a boil in a medium pan; stir in grits and salt. Cover and cook on reduced heat, simmer for 5 minutes, stirring twice. Remove from heat; stir in cheese and grits.
