Easy and delicious chipolte cheese puffs. Ingredients:
1 c shredded cheddar cheese |
1/2 c shredded parmesan cheese |
3/4 tsp chipolte chili powder |
1 sheet frozen puff pastry,thawed |
1 egg,lightly beaten |
1 tbs water |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Coat a large baking sheet with non-stick spray. 2. In small bowl,mix togeter cheeses and chili powder. Set aside. 3. Place pastry sheet on a lightly floured work surface. Roll out to a 12x10 rectangle. Lightly brush with egg wash. Start at short end and sprinkle 3/4 c cheese mixture over one half of pastry. Fold other half over cheese like a book. Gently press down over cheese. Place on small baking sheet and refrigerate for 15 mins. 4. Place pastry on cutting board and trim sides even. Cut into approximately fifty 1 squares. Lightly brush tops with egg wash and sprinkle on remaining cheese. Gently press cheese down so it adheres to pastry. 5. Bake at 400 degrees for 13-15 mins,until golden. Serve immediately |
