Delicious salad relying on a hot marinade to soften and flavour the vegetables Ingredients:
7 oz beansprouts, washed and trimmed |
2 oz. red pepper, seeded and cut into thin strips |
4 tsp seasoned sesame oil |
2 tsp soy sauce |
2 tsp wine vinegar |
2 tsp honey |
salt and pepper to taste |
2 tsp chopped fresh coriander |
Directions:
1. Place the beansprouts and peppers in a salad bowl 2. Combine the remaining ingredieents in a small saucepan and heat gently until the honey has melted and the mixture begins to steam 3. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and leave to marinate for up to 2 hours before serving. |
