Chinese Spareribs Ingredients:
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans condensed beef broth |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup honey |
1/2 cup soy sauce |
8 garlic cloves, minced |
1/4 teaspoon red food coloring |
2 teaspoons salt |
4 lbs pork baby back ribs |
Directions:
1. In a 9 x 13 baking dish, combine beef broth, ketchup, honey, soy sauce, garlic, red food coloring, and salt; mix well. 2. Add ribs, turning to coat well with the marinade. 3. Cover and chill overnight, or for at least 4 hours, turning occasionally. 4. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. 5. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. 6. Place spareribs on baking sheet; reserve marinade for basting. 7. Bake 15 minutes. 8. Reduce heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 9. Bake 1 to 1-1/4 hours, or until ribs are tender and glaze is crispy, basting occasionally with reserved marinade. 10. Cut into individual ribs and serve. |
